Back story

 My name is Paul Clarke  I build and restore performance and custom cars . I was born  and raised in Australia where I built my first car at age 13, it was a off-road buggy modeled from a VW floor pan, that  lead to ever advancing builds that guided me to road racing  in  Australia's    V8 Supercar series along with Nascar Australia series when opportunity presented a chance to come to America to continue my racecar building career . After landing in the USA  my experience in metal working and shaping really developed building steel bodies in Nascars Winston cup series, along with body shaping I worked in the suspension department learning dynamic geometry and fabricating suspension components,  all these opportunities gave me a well rounded understanding of building racecars. The next few years saw me as a crew chief for different types of racing , such as teaming up to help Paul Dallenbach set a new record  at Pikes Peak, and some time spent in the GRC. After about 12yrs in racing and winning 5 championships in different types of racing I needed a change of pace when an offer to build cars for Hollywood came my way, that had me building stunt cars for most of the big car films along with that came the chance to build theme cars for Matel Hotwheels where I was part of a team to build real scale Hotwheels  cars around 15 in total over the years, progressing into my own business came easy I just keep doing what I do, now days I focus on restoration of classic and performance cars both American and European, under the Clarke Motorsports  name I make my own subtle racing touches and upgrades to body work and suspension combined with an understanding of the reliability needed to last long grueling races . As I continue to build cars each one teaches me something new that I can pass on to my clients .
